Any way you like it

So Merl, the very gifted visionary behind the Jewelry Line Clyde's Rebirth, knows that I have a thing for this necklace.  You may remember it from this post when I said I would love to wear it topless at some tropical getaway.  YA.  So she is putting together a very hot look book for her current line and just as an experiment, thought she would send it to me to let me "play around" with it.  Very Clever Girl.  It was taking all of my willpower to not buy the darn thing and now that I have it in my possession,  how easy it would be to just wire her the cash and keep it forever!!  ESPECIALLY now that I see I can wear it with virtually any outfit, Transform a simple black dress, dress up a little strapless sundress, add bling to a solid body suit, and this was just the first three things I tried!  I think a simple black tee with jeans would be even better than option 3 (but all my tees are dirty today)  And She has more of these things!  I think she may have already sold the adjustable multi chain harness that I saw a couple weeks back.  But she adds new things all the time.  The coolest thing is how completely original each piece is.  She collects vintage strands, chains, clasps and beads from old jewelry and just designs these great mixed pieces.  I feel like a modern Princess Leia!  (and yes it does look pretty cool on bare skin, but there is a time and a place, right grandma)

COMMENT OF THE DAY:  Ya, I get the idea!!  Snicker!  She need to make more right!

(i don't usually say words like that, but you have to realize how awesome i think this thing is) all i can think about is how fabulous it would be as an alternative to typical lingerie. or maybe on a beach somewhere in spain. wow, the possibilities are virtually unlimited. it looks amazing with that black dress. you have to buy that necklace! and so do i!!

So I've been lurking your blog for awhile, but I'm finally going to come out of my lurking shadows to let you know that you're totally inspiring. I tried the wrap and tuck with a button up shirt the other day and it looked awesome. Wish I could claim credit for the idea. And also, that is a super awesome necklace thing. I don't mean to be an enabler, but I would buy that for sure.

SO unique! I love this necklace.. I've been dieing over Clyde's Rebirth, they are all so dreamy! Wish they weren't so expensive, because I want EVERYTHING, but they pieces are so beautiful it is quite understandable!

By the way, I just read your post a few days back and MAN what a thinker that one was! I'm now pondering the existence of life in general.. gotta go talk to my philosophy prof.!

Wow, I love the ways you've styled it. It looks so fantastic with all of the looks. What an interesting piece of jewelry, it kind of reminds me of the harnesses that were popping up on blogs late last year. And yeah, I can totally imagine someone wearing it on a topical getaway:)

Very interesting piece. I like it best with the black dress, to be honest--I think it really allows the piece to shine for itself.
