fringe benefits

This top/dress was another find at the hallowed antique vintage faire last Sunday. I think you can pretty much guarantee that every day I will be wearing something from that sale. This top came with a matching pair of pants. $5. . .  no foolin. I am sorry if I look a little smug in that last photo, but after my massage and pedi yesterday, and while wearing this fringy frock, I feel like a million gajillion bucks. Happy too that my eyes are concealed by the shade of my brim, since I looked freaking high all day!  Half closed, low eyebrows, sappy smile, chilled the frick OUT. Still chill as I write this. eating a string cheese.  my bottle of water may as well be champagne. That is where I am right now folks. AND I slept in the sun for a little while. I am not going to deny that things could not get any better at this moment. Appreciate the highs when they come, and let the memory of them keep you warm in the lows. Stocking up on high right now.  should get me through for a loooooong time. Starting to feel pretty sappy at the moment so I'll just go now and hope that this doesn't sound crazy at 6:00 tomorrow morning!

Top: heaven (otherwise known as the sacantiquefaire.com)

It doesn't sound crazy at all. I'm going through a pretty serious low right now so I need all the reminders of happy things that I can get. Thanks for reminding me to remember them.

You look gorgeous, by the way!

I'm so glad you enjoyed your relaxing day! I think I've got my Saturday this week planned around very similar chill activities.

I completely agree with your last post on the funk that can follow cold weather. In fact, to help me avoid the funk I've started a new feature where each week I answer the same 5 questions, to just keep my internal style happy and healthy! Sometimes the little things are all you need for a perk up!

My pal Kerry and I were just talking about busting out our poncho and capss. She had just found a rad cotton poncho with a mexican painting on the middle...of a cowbow and a cactus, lol. I told here it was the best lightweight poncho I've ever seen in my life, and one day later, it's been topped by yours. Awesomeness.

You look like a bajillion, by the way. No change back.

Christina you always look amazing! If only I lived somewhere warmer and I could still rock shorts in October, I'd be copying your outfit tomorrow :o)

Just stop it right now.

I'm starting to think that this faire is a myth. It really is just too good to be true.

What happened?

Give me the key to the alternate universe of perfect vintage finds and massages and pedis and sunshine naps.

As envious as I am, I am very, very happy for you and all of this loveliness in your life right now. If anyone should have it, it is certainly you.

Also, if I were your hubby, I would have a tight leash on you in that outfit. Seriously, it looks amazing. I can hear all of the anonymous dudes who read your blog drooling on their keyboards right now.

It's a strange sound.

Also, this look is like the perfect Peruvian Beach look. Not sure if there are any beaches in Peru that are crawling with tanned locals who surf at dawn and then harvest exotic fruit in the afternoons to make delicious, nutritious meals in the evening-- but if there are, by golly this is what they're wearing.

Glad to hear you sounding a little more grateful today! Sitting here in the cold, dreary and raining north east, heading inevitably towards a 6 month winter - I was nearly disgusted by your 'summer blues' post the other day. Today though I am envying your sun, your pedi and your massage.
