set of pipes

Man, I am totally blowing my load on these new locations this week.  I should have saved like one per week but I got all excited and went out investigating.  Its like my "find weird stuff and stand on or in front of it" week.  I am in a competition with myself now to find a better place than the day before. At the same rate, my new developments selling vintage in new venues are very exciting and promising!  I got my vintage jewelry all set up Thursday and the shop owner wants me to put a few dresses in there too! I know this is not really great news to anyone but me (since I secretly would just LOVE to sell in a shop and not have to list) but I guarantee the clientele in my town are different from you, and you have nothing to worry about.  Speaking of which, I am photographing a whole new slew of things this morning and will give a preview and begin listing this afternoon! You may be all shopped out by now, but I didn't want you to think I was sitting on my bootie after just a couple of days of listing.

Looking forward to the weekend?  Mine will likely be all business, but I am not bothered.  I feel like the grasshopper that's been singing all summer but realized she still had time to get her act together and feels humbled and grateful for it.  The ant workers are all scoffing at her newly motivated direction, but she is confident that she is an efficient enough grasshopper, and will just make do with less this winter if she must.  The first half of summer was too wonderful and overshadows her want and guilt. Plus if she works really hard now, she can play again in September! Oooooooh Yeeeeeaaaaaahhh!

I am dying at your "stand on or in front of" comment. I did that once, I made Rob drive all around with me and it was ass-cold and then I posted them all in a row. Buoys? I'll stand on 'em!

And I love your purple polish. So, so much.

Your hat rocks my world, with the perfect amount of hair poking out. I gotta broaden the hair horizons.
happy weekend!!!!

i've been thinking a lot about your life of thrifting, lately. seeing your daily outfits, you'd never know. to be honest, you look more put together than some of the gals who get FREE clothes from sponsors.

it's very inspiring, and the more thrifting i do, the less i like what i see at F21, Urban, etc. while i dont think i can give up "new" shopping for life, its refreshing to do a lot less of it!

I love the whole outfit! Especially the blouse, I only have a few vintage pieces, but they definitely make me feel special when I put them on.

Thought I always dig your style, I think this is my favorite outfit of yours. You look in charge, very sharp.

I don't know that I've commented before, but I should tell you that I always enjoy reading your blog because of how your personality translates through text. It is very natural and I'm glad you share it.

I love this outfit! I NEED that hat, but it's possible that it won't fit on my head since it's ENORMOUS.

Your blouse is just so beautiful and elegant! Loved it! Are you planning to go to NY this September again, or what? Oh it would be so fun (okay not too much but) to see your photos and read your journeys... Kisses!

What you did with the belt is blowing my mind.

I like the black.

I like the white.

I like the hat.

I like the pipes.

(and the purple toes! But that totally doesn't rhyme).

Overall this made me very, very happy.
