I know you were expecting more

. . . and maybe I was a tad dramatic last week, but I swear to you, I cut a WHOLE lot off.  It looks very similar to how it was before.  I know that.  I was thinking of going shorter than this, shaggy bobbish, but My turkish friends helped me to realize that I really wanted long hair, I just want healthy hair more.  The sick stuff is gone leading the way for healthier length so we will see.  I am still trimming little edges each day. I hope that you are not tremendously disappointed now.  I think I was PMSing a bit and feeling angst for no really good reason. At the moment I am trying to grow just about everything out, sooo, we will see how that goes.

Regarding the last post, I AM DYING OVER THAT BLACK AND WHITE STRIPE MAXI DRESS TOO! And yes it is mine and I probably will not sell it for a while. It makes me believe in unicorns.

haha! i was really picturing something short and crazy from your description! there is def less length, but it looks great! i've been trying to grow my hair out for the LONGEST time, so i can relate. a few inches feel like loosing precious time and effort.

you look wonderful, dear!

Ok, I admit, I was expecting more, but you look awesome!!

Also, anything that makes you believe in unicorns should be treasured.

What do you mean, unicorns aren't real?

I really like your outfit, even though the setting of your photoshoot is very 'summer-y', your outfit looks very september-appropriate to me.

Btw, I'm lovin' your blog. You got a new follower!
If you ever wanna stop by mine, too I'd be very glad!

so on Thursday at 11pm last week, my BF wanted to cut my hair. We went into the bathroom with a pair on kitchen (seafood) scissors and he chopped off my bangs. We did the little twist (told him it will be shorter once it untwists) and viola... my fringe looks like yours now and i love it <3

ok I LOVE that shirt...it looked so plain and basic...and then I noticed the shoulder slit. I'm in love!! I've been adding shoulder slits/keyholes to a few shirt, but it never occured to me to try a button-up!
As for the hair..it looks amazing..It looks even curly/wavyer than ever!! I love it. As for growing healthy hair...I read somewhere to take the Supplement called "Biotin" (Ted Gibson said so...I listened..haha)...I started taking it just over a week ago..not sure if it works..but I figured with it being a Vitamin (B) it definatly wouldn't hurt to try!

I always go with good intentions of cutting a lot off and come home with a trim.

Air on the side of caution is what I say :-)

Alright, so if you're not going to sell the black and white dress, can you at least wear it everyday?! Cuz you should! And, I'm impressed with your DIY haircut, if I ever took scissors to my own hair, I'm pretty sure I'd end up with a mullet, or looking like a deranged muppet, or something else equally as not good.

It looks super healthy and the color is gleaming! Not to mention how blue your eyes look...gorgeous!

I actually just printed out the 3rd photo as I'm heading to my stylist for a cut. I'm inspired and might just start growing mine out

I hear you on the wanting healthy hair thing- I have been known to just cut a chunk of gross dry used to be bleached hair off, regardless of the consequences for aesthetics or symmetry etc!!

Glad you guys are enjoying the phrase book, I wish I'd read through it more myself before I wrapped it up!! And Simon is loving the music, especially the soundtracks to the wes anderson films (but all the rest too!)

First off, your hair looks SO GORGEOUS, healthy lovely beautiful perfect gorgeous! Secondly, the close up pic of you, YOU are gorgeous. Totally and completely. As for your outfit: well, I am just so distracted by your incredible good lookingness I will have to scroll up and take another look. One second.

There you go. LOVE it. The shoes esp. Is it vintage? Love the shoulder detail.

Oh, and also, you are hilarious. Personally stripes don't make me believe in unicorns. But you do.

And of course, love your outfit - actually I have the same type of clothes in my closet, but I can´t wear them anymore, because here is such a cold and rainy weather.:/ How a pitty...:( Well at least I can feel some sunny "vibe" through your pictures:)

Have a beautiful day!

Wow, you know magic, since the other 2 posts, it does seem so much shorter.

But this length is gorgegous for you and I agree, healthy hair is best, as for length, it's always subjective to our individual taste.

Love the shoes...I want one now, time for shoes again (bye sandals :() since it's almost fall and all...

Even though everyone else is saying pretty much the same thing, that close up picture just hit me and I was like "Woah!" so I figured I should chime in.
You hair looks fantastic! It's so pretty like this. I love how wavy and shiny and HEALTHY it looks. Don't feel like you make a mistake at all. Not that your hair wasn't lovely before, but I think it looks a million times better, and no one even knew that was possible.
