20.9.10

I am writing this post Sunday night and it's my birthday tonight so I have to make this ultra quick! In case you really wanted to know, this was generally what I wore while I was camping the past four days. I think you can bet that I was wearing this hat and these boots, and the stuff in between was pretty much inconsequential.  I have a very sweet hand-full of people I need to write and thank on Monday morning, but right now I just need to shower and hit the hay (OR MY LOVE MUFFIN OF A FLUFFY WARM BED FINALLY!!) Naw, I actually slept pretty good and was surrounded by excellent company, ate great food, drank good drinks, paid no heed to the clock, laid around and marveled at the warmth. It was an IDEAL break.  And now I am 31.  Time to get to business. I don't know if I have ever said it here, but every year I get older I am happier.  I really don't anticipate that changing either. I feel like I am finally growing into myself each year. Ah, I am rambling.  Sleep time.

If you would like a bit more content though, the very lovely Katy from Modly Chic asked me some interview questions a little bit ago and they are different from any of the others I have answered so far. She asks the same ones to a different blogger each Monday as part of her Monday Profiles feature. You can read my answers to the following questions by clicking here.

Where does the name come from?
When did you start the blog?

A woman's most beautiful feature is her:

That is such a good way to think about getting older. Although I have a little freak out before each birthday I really shouldn't as I'm the same and feel that I'm getting happier and more comfortable in myself each year. So thanks for the reminder- hopefully I can avoid the freak out this year.

I'm glad you had a good trip and happy birthday! xx

Happy late birthday my dear! I hope it was a good one (sounds like it) I would love to camp for my birthday with friends. I love sleeping under the stars.

If your blog is only gonna last 18 months, I hope we can still stay in touch in 6 months :)

Happy Birthday!!!

I always used to be scared of getting older, but, funnily enough, reading blogs, especially of those people who are past studying and are uh, 'proper adults', just makes me excited and now I just want to skip those in between years. Kinda!

Happy birthday! I really enjoyed reading your responses on Katy's blog - especially the one about missing human contact. You are so right - it's so easy to get "lost' behind the monitor, but that can never replace REAL human interaction.

You know, I feel the same as you:

1. about camping: hat, boots, stuff in between inconsequential.

2. getting older. Me too! I was just thinking this exact same thing the other day! How every year older I get the more me I feel!

Also, adore this outfit. You are chic no matter what you do.

ps: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
