Bridge

I love this bridge.  I don't go down to it as often as I wish I did and when I do I always wonder what my problem is that I am not there everyday!  I should be doing yoga on this bridge and throwing rocks off of it and making it bounce and stuff Every DAY!! My husband asked me to marry him on this bridge and we did just on the other side of it (you can see a black thing sticking up from the ground in that nature shot, right there).  It was in the fall so all the trees were really pretty, glittery leaves were falling all the time and there was a blanket of leaves on the ground.  Like a fairy tale for me. I'll show some pictures some time. It is really nice right now though too.  Warm and the water under the bridge is fast and high.

My outfit is SO plain and very casual today, and that is really really on purpose because I have just decided (even though I decided a long time ago but never implemented my plan) that I am just going to wear my Clyde's Rebirth Harness with anything.  The lower the outfit, the better.  Trying to channel Erin Wasson or something (though I am sure she would wear sky high heels and short cut offs instead of pants and sandals, but hey, I am not a super model apparently and this is an actual location where I have to really walk to, Soooooo.) Is this outfit blog worthy without the harness?  Meh.  With?  Absolutely in my opinion obviously or it wouldn't be here! I just think that special details make all the difference, you know.  Plus, I have just been wanting to dress plain lately so I really have to rely on accessories until I get back to dresses and skirts (which will probably be this weekend since that is how it is with me. Plus I have an exciting guest coming out this weekend so we will likely be doing all kinds of funness! Tee hee hee!!  I can't wait!)

Again, thank you so much for all of your honesty (good, constructive, or super super sweet) yesterday! I really respect your opinions and hope you continue to give them to me.

that harness is quite ultimate :) but i'd say the outfit is blogworthy without it, hats automatically make plain clothes interesting!

random fact for you, I love this blog as it is the only one that gets updated late at night (my time), so it generally is the last one I get to read before bed, hours after I've run out of other blogs to read in between doing homework. thanks :)

you are so freakin hot! i love this outfit. i think the harness looks amazing with the tank. i've worn mine with my aa v-neck and i love it just as much with something low as with something fancy. and the bridge is so lovely. it reminds of me of (and this will make me sound stupid and lame and like a middle aged woman) the bridges of madison county. i totally loved that book! and i know what you're planning this weekend. don't think you can be so sly :) can't wait to see pics!!!! and speaking of pics, i wanna see pics of your wedding. it sounds terribly romantic!

You do a "plain" outfit really, really well! Even though it's simple it's still a really interesting outfit.

This is such a pretty location, too! I have a fear of bridges but this one is so cool. You should do more shots here!

Love this outfit! I have totally been into super soft, comfy drapey tees on the weekends lately in this hot weather. So this outfit is good inspiration for me to make them more bloggable. Hmmmm, i will have to pick up some interesting accessories.

The harness is perfection with this casual-chic ensemble. And wow, what a locale! Gorgeous AND emotionally significant.

Definatly blog worthy...sometimes it's nice to see how people still look stylish while wearing more casual pieces...the effortlessly chic look! And the greatest thing about basic outfits is that you have so much more freedom to accessorise!

I love the harness and I think that the outfit would be fine to blog on without it as well. It's cute and we all have those days where we just don't spiff up all our outfits with the extras--nothing wrong with that! :)

Having a really rough day today, and for some reason seeing your face made me feel better. I am thankful for your blog friendship.

Very cool outfit. I would dress this way every day if (a) my job didn't require a suit and (b) I looked as awesome as you do in it.

Oh Miss Merl and her trinkets! I think that this is fabulous. Not only are you comfy, gorgeous, and completely care-free groovy- but you have done such a lovely job of showcasing the harness.

My fear would be drowning out its beauty by too loud an outfit.

But you madam, have done wonders with a pair of jeans and a hat. {and oh lord, what a hat it is!)

And thank you for the love yesterday..

I know I'm a few days late with this comment, but I like that style of photography a lot when you are the subject of the photo. The pictures of the clothes on the dress form, however, look cold, gloomy and impersonal. I wouldn't recommend it for your shop, but I would enjoy you using that style of photo once in a while in this blog!

I'm a big fan of your outfits by the way :)
