Lady Luck Lover

I sold one of these jumpsuits recently in my shop and had regretted it ever since. It was so cute, and fit me perfectly, but I thought that I didn't wear these things for some reason.  Until I lost it.  Then I just really wished I had it back.  Some lucky lady in San Francisco is sitting pretty in it now.  Congrats lady!  Lucky for me (yes, I will accept that lady luck is my lover right now) I found this one last weekend along with the top from Monday and the outfit from yesterday. . . and this scarf I tied and used as a belt and the necklace and bracelet.  Its been a freaking good time for me.  I take luck when it comes to me and realize that it is never here to stay.  Don't take it for granted. I appreciate and cherish it like a good lover and just hope she stays with me for as long as she can! I love you lady luck!

I got some really cool things in the mail recently too (more crazy luck!) and I am pretty excited and eager to wear them! Thanks Merl, Kimber Shining Star, Modcloth and Maimie girls! I can't wait to do special post for each package!

this outfit looks so amazing and yet distinctively unique. I love the scarf around your waist especially it really makes the jumpsuit just pop.

I bought a jumpsuit not to long ago and im still trying to figure out what to pair it with. The look you posted is a great spring board for me to try and figure out what to do.

I love, Love, LOVE the romper/jumpsuit trend, and this outfit looks fantastic on you. However, I haven't fully embraced he look because I'm not sure women with an ample backside, can pull it off. Thoughts?

The jumpsuit looks amazing on you. I've done that before, too, as well as not buying something at a store and having it gone when I came back. It's unfortunate but lucky you for finding another!

Clearly, a j-suit was meant to be in your wardrobe. So glad this one swooped in to replace the one that got away!

It is a GREAT jumpsuit. I hate when you get rid of things and then regret it, but destiny obviously had something else in mind for you!

Oh, how I want this jumpsuit! This outfit is perfect. LOVE it.

I was just reading article the other day about one downside of jumpsuits is stripping down naked to use the potty. I had never thought of that. I still want one though. I think I could handle it.

I've also had some lucky thrifting finds lately too! Everyone must be Spring cleaning! (and here we are Spring hording...oh well! :-)

The jumpsuit is great, but I'm obsessed with the shoes!! I've been swooning over Dries van Noten's SS10 collection, and these shoes look like they'd fit right in (only I bet they're much cheaper!).

Those shoes! Wow, they're perfect!

The shoes/scarf/necklace compliment the jumper perfectly! This gives me ideas for my maxi dress!!! You really inspire me,when I need it most! (this has been an unusually crummy week for me. Ever feel like the doll in the anti-depressant commercial who needs to be continuously re-wound through-out the day?) That's been me. I decided that sometimes I need to allow myself to feel bad, and stop fighting it, in order to get better ;) - Wow, didn't mean to ramble!!!

Oh my goodness those shoooooooes! I saw those at a department store recently and I wanted them soooo badly. You styled them perfectly!

P.S. I gave a vintage dress to Goodwill and still miss it, and wish I had it back! I hope whomever bought it really loves it :) That would make it all O.K.

Your hair is so light! I like it <3 I'm loving your accessories for this outfit. tI never know how to tie a scarf (as a belt) so it doesn't look stupid in the back. Do you have any back photos?

stylenuggets said...

I bet the person who sold that necklace is regretting it now. It looks like some kind of heirloom piece.

hey! I bought those shoes too! well, i'm still waiting for them becuase I bought them directly from the lucky sales rep and he's been taking his sweet ass time to ship them to me but now I cant wait to get them!!

Hope you had a great weekend! Oh and i'm searching for the video turorial because i'm in the middle of doing a hair post and want to include everything about my hair, and well, your video is the shit! Don't worry though, i'll just link it back to your blog and not post it directly on mine, that way my readers will find out about the lady behind the hair.

It's funny, I see your pictures now and you are so... um how do I put this, familiar? like seeing a family member's picture or a very close friend. Like I look at your picture and am like, yes I miss you. Not to be a creeper or antying but I just wanted to tell you!!! K, back to my mega hair post! i've been working on it for hours.
eep, this comment turned into a novel.

oh well!
