spring a ding ding

I may be wearing these shoes every day for the next 6 months or so.  Well, unless it snows this weekends like they say it will.  Dangit.  Thats spring for you though.  An unpredictable tease.  I'll take bits of warm when I can get them though.

So I think there are many many many new etsy sellers here in this blog neighborhood, vintage and handmade things as well.  Annie, from Time Enough For Drums, just started a really great vintage shop, and Brittany, from Finders Keepers, has a new one with adorable things!  I have already purchased a couple of items from Paige's shop (of Barefoot Vintage) and I know there are several others that I have browsed and loved!  I am thinking we should all band together as bloggers and create a registry blog.  Like a blog where we post updates specifically for independent bloggers with shops (mostly on etsy, but I guess ebay is ok too, I jut personally have a hard time shopping there! its the competition that kills me!) So we would all be contributors on the blog and just post our updates there (and on our own blogs I guess)  Does that seem like too much work?  Annoying?  Helpful?  Then the blog roll would be specifically the blogs of the people who contribute.  And it would be open to all indie blog shops.  Any feedback?  Any interest?  I am open to names for this blog, the look etc.

No wonder you're going to wear those shoes the next 6 months. I would!

I would be incredibly happy if I was excepted to participate a blog like that, even though I'd the most certainly be more receiving than giving, readerwise anyway. But I'm very serious about my shop and since I'd probably be one of the very few Finns and maybe even Europeans, I still believe it would be an asset to have a different range of products -at least different from yours. What I'm focusing on anyhow is finding fashion designed in my home country.

Don't let Maggie G see you in these gorgeous shoes or you may have to break out some self-defense moves!

The color is seriously one of my favorites for spring/summer and you are wearing them so well. Too bad you may have to keep them out of the snow (!!), though.

This is an amazing look, I love your shoes. I really want to invest in some Seychelles this summer!

I haven't really mentioned this in the blogging world yet, but I'm planning to open a vintage shop soon! As someone who's quite nervous about getting started, I think the blog sounds like a great idea! I'd defnitely want to be a part of it once I get my shop up and running.

I love your idea of a blog for all the ladies who are selling handmade, vintage items and such. Does it have to be a local thing or can all contribute? I don't have any idea fo the name of blogs yet..or the look, or who should moderate it :) Any suggestions?

I'm thinking about opening up my own online shop (I have abundance of vintage items/clothes/bags/shoes--thanks to my mom and some estate sale finds).

I'm going to be starting up soon with the pictures and such. :) And I should be writing my blog, but it's been too nice outside :p

Btw, I love your dress. It's spring time dress and the shoes are magic!

You look totally adorable (as usual), and those shoes are fantastic!

I think the etsy vintage sellers blog is a fabulous idea. I've been slowly ramping up my shop and would love to participate.

I really like the idea of the community blog for shops. I finally just recently got my Etsy shop going, which was the reason I started blogging in the first place, so I would love to be involved. I love keeping up with everyone's etsy shops too.
Keep me updated if you decide to do more with this idea.

My sister and I both have been reading your blog for a few months now, sort of "silent readers," if you know what I mean!

We recently opened up a little shop selling vintage clothing, etc., and are working on getting some items up on etsy. For now, here's a link to our blog:

I think your "registry" idea is a great one!

I am so loving your blog registry idea. I have been toying with the idea of opening an Etsy shop for a while for my vintage finds. I recently moved and had to get rid of so much stuff that should have been on Etsy!

I'd love to be apart of the registry (once I get shop up and running) but I could also help out on the organizational end - its sort of my forte to be organized!

Hey girl,

Thanks so much for the shout out! This etsy business is hard work! So, Little Ocean Annie and I have actually been talking back and forth about doing a blogger/etsy seller collaborative, and then she mentioned that you'd been talking about doing this registry idea, too! I am 100% for banding together and making something great!!! Annie.
