Maxi wise

This has got to be my most favorite maxi skirt I have ever had in my possession!  It wraps and ties and can sit low on the hips or tight around the waist, worn totally boho with a hat and tube top, or classed up with a fitted pinstripe blazer.  The best part is that I found it at my local thrift shop, 50% off day, for $1.50.  How does this freaking happen!  We are having a casual family get together this afternoon so I decided to bust it out! I may put a little tank on under my blazer so that I can take it off if I wish.  Not sure if everyone is celebrating the holiday, but if you are, have a nice one, or just a fantastic weekend!

Oh my goodness! As soon as I saw this skirt I had the BIGGEST grin on my face. How perfect in every way- the color, the length, the texture. I don't think I could love an article of clothing more than that one.

I love your maxi skirt and that awesome hat. This is one of the reasons why I love your blog -- you're able to see clothing items to their full potential.

I love the look, combining a laid-back, boho-chic maxi skirt with a fitted blazer. The combination reminds me of Uma Thurman's character in Kill Bill 2...kind of (b4/during the 'climax' of the movie/confrontation w/ Bill), but of course a more formal version of it somewhat. Very cool indeed.

This is one of those outfits that would look AMAZING in photos, but that I would feel uncomfortable wearing out of the house, haha. Either way, you look adorable!
