Hose beast

My son loves our outdoor photo shoots and it gives me an opportunity to explore different outdoor backgrounds (I just had to throw his 'jumping off the rock' picture in there).  I guess I should clean my back porch off and move the hoses so that I have a clear spot to stand on there, but then maybe I would be inclined to take all my pics there from now on so that instead of the boring green background of my studio, it would become the monotonous brick back porch background.  I fall into routines too well and this whole season is about trying new things.  I am even thinking of going to blonde again.

Thank you for your encouragement yesterday! I feel really excited! Its also really cool to see that so many fellow bloggers are starting their own Esty shops!! I think a Fashion Blogger / Vintage Seller roundup would be a good idea.  Like a registry or something.  Hmm.

I love the fashion shoots you do with your son! The photos are always so lovely.

And I love the idea of trying new things. I have been thinking a lot lately about trying to open up an Etsy shop once school's over for the year. I have so many things I've made lying around just begging to be sold!

Oh my, I LOVE that shirt. I call first dibs if you ever put it up on the etsy shop :P
Your son is adorable, and you are stunning. I notice you always look to the side when you use your self-timer. Nice to see your gaze!!

this outfit reminds me of indiana jones in marrakech for some reason, I love the atypical summery-ness of it! also, your eyes are amazing: in that last picture your eyes are sooo blue and you don't seem to have pupils, haha! :D

and I'd love to see you go back to blonde, I'm a sucker for blondes! :D

What a great idea for a group Etsy / registry! As a vintage junkie with no experience in selling online, this would help out many gals who haven't acquired a rep. in the community yet!

What a wonderful outfit! I love love love the striped top with the simple white pants and oxfords. My mother used to have this amazing white silk pantsuit, and when I was a child, I'd rush home from school and sneakily put it on with her heels (and sometimes her bra!) I think the best part of my day was playing dress up in her closet and sometimes, I'd even strut around town, with my weird little 10 year old's body and her adult clothes. But I never dared to wear her white pants outside for fear of soiling them and being found out. And then one day, she just threw them in the garbage and they were gone! I think, ever since, I've been secretly desiring a pair of white/cream pants just like yours.

Thank you so much for sharing!
