spring cleaning

Today I did a complete overhaul of my closet.  I considered every belt, scarf, blouse, shoe, dress, jacket, etc.  I placed my spring clothes out front and moved heavy winter clothes to the back.  I emptied old purses and threw away old underwear.  Everything is color coded, organized, and in its place.  It feels wonderful.  I should have listed things on Etsy today.  I should have blogged earlier today.  I should have left this dress and these shoes in the etsy pile where they were destined to sell, but, instead,  I rewarded myself by giving them a special place in my newly organized, fully functioning closet.  The etsy room is now full of things I will need to sell from my closet, so I apologize for the delay, but now that my life is organized, listing will be so much easier.  Happy weekend!  Happy productivity!  Happy spring cleaning!

COMMENT OF THE DAY:  I hope your cleaning went well!

Thank's so much for the inspiration! Makes the starting a lot easier (although here in Finland it's really not a rush just yet... does make the waiting maybe a bit more pleasant)

Yay for spring cleaning! Doesn't it always feel better when everything is organized? It does wonders to your mentality.

And I absolutely love that jacket!

Congratulations, that's a great accomplishment! I really need to do that to my closet, it's driving me crazy, but I haven't had the time.

The dress looks great on you, so you're fully justified in keeping it :o)

Okay, I am in love with your shoes! And the dress is a paricular wow, as well!

So funny about you colour coding your clothes! I thought I was the only one who did that! It makes finding them so much easier. Good work on spring cleaning. I am holding off until we move into our new place and my walk in closet. Yes. I said "walk in closet". ;-)

Considering my bedroom floor is no longer visible, I should probably at least think about doing some spring cleaning.

Adorable dress!

That dress is so pretty, perfect for spring.

I always find that after one of these cleaning/organizing sessions a little reward on top makes me feel like a million bucks.

These shoes are marvelous. Totally understand why you are keeping them.

Yeah for the color coded closet. Did mine 2 months ago. And it's so much easier to find stuff!!! Can't change to spring though, cause we've got new snow. Hey that rhymes. LoL.

Enjoy your sunday and don't feel guilty about doing your stuff in your own time. It's your life, so do it your way. Cheers.

I'm glad you're keeping that dress. It's beautiful and looks great on you. That first picture is really wonderful.

Sometimes you've got to get organized in order to feel productive. I can't do as many things when there is a mess around me.

Gorgeous dress. I love the spring feel about it, despite the muted colors. Perfect for this time of year.
