Fruits of the toil

This post is either very interesting to you or VERY uninteresting.  Either way, I will be back to normal outfit posts tomorrow!  A couple of girls (Jenn and Sarabellum) said they were interested in seeing my Newly organized closet that I was so thrilled about yesterday, and since I guess its good for insurance purposes to photograph your stuff, I thought I would go ahead and show and tell.  Its not like the most Glorious thing in the entire world so I hope you are not disappointed!

To start, Yes, I mostly have the whole closet to myself.  My husband, by his own will, moved his stuff out into some furniture we have in our room, and in exchange for the real estate, I wash and fold and put away his laundry occasionally.  Not a bad deal.  Anyway, the first pic shows the view from the outside and I basically ordered the pictures so that if you start on the right and work your way around you will eventually get back to the door.  Heavy long coats first, lightweight jackets and blazers next, (a few of my husbands button shirts are not shown) then boots under the jackets. My accessory wall is in the back on top of a set of drawers that hold scarves, gloves, knit hats, wigs masks and other fun stuff, then on the north wall I have my skirts and pants on the lower level with heels and sandals below, blouses are ordered with the darks near the back and lights (next photo) in the front for spring.  This order changes in cooler months.  Then finally hanging behind the door are my dresses and below them are more sandals. My purses hang on the skirt rod.  My belts are mostly hung from nails next to the door by the coats and right now my hats are awaiting a home, sitting on my drawers out in the room.  The drawers carry all my undies, sleep and workout wear, and random things that don't deserve to hang in the closet (tees, sweats, tights, yoga wear, snow gear, etc. These items are not even folded)

Ya, pretty boring right, but its Sunday so, you know,  Enjoy the rest of the weekend and good luck to those of you who are spring cleaning as well!

COMMENT OF THE DAY:  I think every blogger should do this too!  I would love to see some closets!! Thanks lady!

WOWZA. Clearly not my closet, which easily fits into the tiny wardrobe I have here @ UCLA. This is glorious!

This mildly reminds me of a picture I saw of Olivia Wilde's closet -- not that I think you dress like her. Just how it's arranged and how it's so pretty.

Awesome! Now all I need is your home address and the times of day you're not home so that I can steal EVERYTHING IN THERE.

That was quite a closet... how long did you finish the spring cleaning? I also have the entire walk-in closet to myself. I moved the hubby's stuff in the guest room closet. Hahaha! He was quite worried that the next item I'll move to the guest room is him. :-)

Have a great day! xoxo
