loose but not easy

If you have noticed I tend toward sort of, questionable titles at times, but literally they make sense I hope.  I have a love for puns and cheese ballyness.   What I mean by this title is that sometimes I am under the assumption that loose clothing should be easy to wear, but usually it is in fact, to the contrary.  Maybe its just because its winter time, because I am sure this would be a breeze with boots and cutoffs, (well maybe not).  The point is, I have been wanting to wear this ever since I got it in, what early November.  I seriously love it, but the length and the width are a difficult proportion for me.  I am giving it a try today and if I decide its not me I am just selling it.  I paired it with double layers of tights and fishnets and I actually have a warm little sweater tank dress under to keep me warm.  I haven't chosen a jacket yet, but it will probably completely obstruct the outfit making the boots more important I guess.  Ya and about these boots, I have had these for a full year now and this is my first wear.  I have no idea WHY.  They are pretty cute, no? Anyways . . . we shall see.

Thanks for the suggestions for my sister.  Unfortunately she HATES sentimentality and hand made things (I am telling you!! the opposite of me!)  Instead favoring diamonds (PUKE!! sorry, I would rather wear wood thats all) Blueberry Vodka and UFC Fights.  I am thinking of just getting her some fancy anti aging eye cream and be done with it!!

love your booties!

I love cheesy puns, the title of this post is hilarious!

you look great, but I agree that loose fitting clothes can sometimes be worse than inappropriately tight clothing. they can just completely drown you out. its only after I see a photo of me in a baggy outfit that I realize it was shapeless and actually more unflattering than my too-tight skinny jeans.

I think this outfit has a nice, effortless chic look to it. And keep it up with the cheesy puns!

i'm in love with your little booties :) they're adorable! and i love the flow of that dress. loose fitting clothes can be difficult to wear; they have to hang right. :)

cute cute cute. It looks very comfy. I do that a lot of times too - buy something that just stays in the closet for months until I find it again and realize its super cute and should have worn it ages ago. haha. I think of it has find a long lost treasure. so funny. :)

Heehee, your sister and you sound so different! I just ADORE this outfit. The shape of that dress, while it might be difficult to style, is stunning in this outfit.

Love the color of the tights. You always seem to color coordinate so well. I just had to take a break after having written a new post on Lady Gaga, Pink, and Madonna to see your latest entry. You model such a variety of interesting fashions. This outfit looks very comfortable. Without the close-up I never would have guessed you had double-layered tights and fishnets. Pretty and functional.

I really like the shoes and the idea of wearing two tights at the same time, but the dress (?) blouse (?).....

Fancy eye cream? Go for clinique, I can really recommend them.

I LOVE THE BOOTS! I have a similar pair in tan, as I was too afraid to go a daring colour like blue!
I love the outfit - I totally get what your saying about loose clothing. I have a couple of loose tops/dresses and they always look good on in my head...not so in real life!

I vote you keep the dress, it is so versatile (belts, etc..) But if you decide to list it, I might have to snatch it up! btw.. Your blog titles always pull me in to read it, cheesy is always good in my book! xoxo Jolie

Yes! People seem to punderestimate the power of a good pun, but you cannot deny how awesome they can be! I'm so glad you appreciate them.

I will now call you Punderwoman.
