Introverted Extroversion

All right.  So I am an introvert.  I thought for a while that I might be and extrovert because I LOVE people so much, particularly faces and facial expressions, but I did that personality test that Carl Jung came up with (I am an INFJ or Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging personality type, apparently the rarest type at only 1% of the population) and figured out what my deal is.  I HATE talking on the phone because I can't SEE what people are really saying, I LOVE face to face interactions but value that type of interaction so much that I feel I need to reserve special, uninterrupted time one on one for these conversations (Time that is in very short supply) so it just doesn't happen very often. But I love Blogging and looking at other peoples blogs because even in my limited time, I love and NEED to see the features and expressions on faces.  I love outfits too, but give me a good face shot and you will completely intrigue me.

Why am I bringing this up?  Well, it has recently been brought to my attention that there are some REALLY interesting people reading and visiting my blog that I didn't even know about!  I crunched the numbers and less than 5% of you are commenting! (EDIT:  This is not to say I do not appreciate those of you who do comment!  I do!  I love it SO much!) To be fair, I read blogs for months and never commented because I didn't feel I had anything to say or I was shy, or simply didn't want to call attention to myself, but I REALLY want to see you and read about you!  I get really excited when someone says they have been coming here for a while or they just found me for the first time because then I get to click on them and see who they are and what they are all about.  That is the really really cool part of blogging for me.  I get to be introverted and a little voyeuristic but still study and know about people.  Best of both worlds.  Sure I would love to sit face to face with you, but who can fly to Istanbul, or Texas, Tennessee, New York, Canada or even San Francisco (though its only a 3 hour drive for me!) on a whim?  I can"t so I fly there in my computer and look at your pictures and laugh at your commentary and feel all warm fuzzy and connected.

So drop me a line and just say Hi just ONCE!  Thats all I am asking.  Even if you don't have a blog.  I am about to go do my thing at the high school right now.  I am wearing this great elastic waist band skirt I found at the Goodwill with just black basics  I really didn't know how else to wear it.  It is pretty statementy but I love it so much!

is that a dress or a skirt with a top? you look fantastic again! having comments and learning a little bit about people really feels good, i know. i try to comment on mostly people who i watch for a while cause i feel like they become my friends (kind of schizophrenic, i know, but you get to know them! don't you think?) anyway, i wonder how i'll be categorized, starting the test know :) thanks for the link!

kisses!

I like how the skirt almost looks like a dress when it is paired with the black top. Cute outfit! I love the fishnets and booties too!

P.S. Don't worry about your hair. It looks great! I also cut other people's hair without any formal training, but somehow it turns out fine!

I hate talking on the phone, too!!! I feel bad when I tell people that because then they're like "Soooo, should I call you?" Haha. I don't even like Skype as much because the computer screen resolution just doesn't cut it.

you are not going to believe this!!!?! hahaha, I picked up that SAME skirt when i was at goodwill a couple weeks ago!!!! when i commented and told you that i had gone and found some things, i TOTALLY had that skirt ready to buy!!! this is hilarious because it only makes sense we would go for the same items.. my mom made me put it back as i had too many things aand she doesnt have the vision we so wonderfully have ;) .........well, after all that ranting, i should probably ask if you got it from the reno goodwill first before i sound like a loony, but i would bet a $100 you were in reno, across the street from whole foods, shoppin' at good ol' will, because i can swear i had that SAME skirt in my hands only days ago!! :) :) :)

I've been reading for awhile but only now commenting, now that I'm going to try my own hand at a blog.

I love the blog and the outfits. And I promise to say hi again sometime soon!

I just started reading about a week or so ago... I haven't commented until today! I don't have a blog myself, but I do enjoy reading about other people and being inspired by their creativity. I might start my own blog one day!

hi!

i commented on your hair post a few days back (found you via moodboard via someone else via someone else - i even did a post this). thanks for stopping by my blog, i really appreciate your input!

i think i should be an introvert. can't remember what type or hybrid type i am and don't really care anymore. it's like those horoscopes; they could be quite inaccurate. i don't believe in horoscopes but i respect the work of astrologers.

see you around!

Hi Hi! Love the blog!

Just wondering though if you could change your settings so that I could view the complete blog article in my google reader. I assume you have it on a setting that cuts it in my reader. Thanks!

Okayyy, you're hair looks amazing here! I always try to make it curl like that and it never looks quite right. Second, you're skirt is adorable. no fuss, perfect with the black.
And third, I would love to meet you in person. I so wish I could meet alot of my blog friends in person. that would mean a very good looking crowd of fashionable ladies all in one place. People would go mad! Maybe that's why it shouldn't happen, too much style in one room.

Holy crap. I took a personality test like you did a couple years ago and mine came out INFJ too. Coincidence! :)
