If I ever feel better

So do you guys know that Phoenix song "If I ever feel better"  It goes "If I ever feel better, remind me to spend some good time with you.  You can give me your number, when its all over I'll let you know."  Oh I freaking LOVE Phoenix so much and guess what!!  I am feeling better!  Good nights sleep!  Sudafed day time!  I am worlds away from yesterday! So today I took my boy on a date to Starbucks.  We have all been home (For SO long it seems) and scratching each others eyes out with cabin fever, so we decided to get dresses up and go eat some scones.  Its amazing what sugar and the smiling baristas can do for moral.

Thank you all so much for your well wishes and tips to recovery!  I was feeling so emotional yesterday and actually got a little teary eyed reading them.

I am always very excited to wear this jacket.  I have to be very careful with it because it is part of a suit set with a matching pencil skirt.  I think its from the 60's and I found it with another little cream crocheted suit set.  I expect that they were from the same donor, similar style, size, era and shape, and that they were her Sunday Best, church suits.  They have been so well cared for and I feel that as their new owner I must be a very careful custodian to them.  You know, out of respect for the little lady who passed them on to me.  I like how you can almost sense the character of the former resident in certain pieces.

Merhaba!

I've slept very early yesterday -you know how it is when you have so much to do! And the time is a bit (10 hours!) forward here, just read your yesterday+today posts... I can say you looked pretty tired yesterday :( but yeap, you look extra beautiful today! I'm so glad you're feeling better... I'm sure a good, warm sleep is the key for health! Just keep up yoga! It helps :D (who am I telling this? :P )

And well, I'm sure being mother to such a wonderful kid also gives you extra energy... The last photo is the best photo I've seen lately :) Such a beautiful family! I wish you a very very long and happy and healthy life all together, for the up coming new years...

Love! Optum!

What an amazing jacket! It is truly beautiful. I know what you mean when you say you feel you have an obligation to take special care of certain pieces.. when you find something truly wonderful, it is just bestowed upon you to carry on its legacy in the fashion world.

I think I caught your illness!! I feel rubbish today, but glad you're feeling better.

I like to think about the original owners of second hand clothing. I can definitely see a well-to-do lady wearing that jacket with the matching skirt!

Happy New Year!

Glad you're feeling better. And I follow the otheres, love the jacket, hats and the last pic.

Yeah, Starbucks is fab, when I had a serious meltdown in Dublin I spend the whole day at Starbucks and was fine again in the evening. Their chocolate cake and double choc muffins. Yummmmy.

Have a good start in 2010.
