I am fighting off a virus. It's sort of strange and ironic since I ALWAYS get sick the first of November and I ALWAYS get sick if I stay out past midnight. . . both things combined, considering last weekend's activities, and I should be sicker than I actually am. . . . but I am fighting it hard this year. I have an acupuncture apt. this Wednesday as well, as insurance, and made a HUGE pot of chicken and rice soup last night to just eat for every meal a until I feel better. The strangest thing is that I LOOK all right. At least in pictures I think I do. In the mirror I think I look like crap! What is that quote from DVF? Something about how she takes pictures to see how she looks because "When you look in a mirror you see how you feel. When you look at a picture, you see how you really look" or something like that. Anyway. . .
I listed the first half of the Lady West collection yesterday and will do the other half this morning in case you didn't see the item you were waiting for yesterday. Cut the listing short since I had a birthday lunch with my oldest friend yesterday and we sat for a few hours catching up. She gave me this scarf for my birthday last month so I wore it for lunch for hers. I think I originally wanted to style it differently but I ran out of creative juice due to my silly virus fight. Oh well! I will be feeling better very soon! Fighting that virus like Rocky. . . when he beat the Russian. Ivan Drago . . . . DRAGO!!!!!

Yes, you do look great... I'm sorry for the sickness, hope you get well soon!!! I didn't know that quote but I think reverse for myself :D Really I look worse in photos :) Nice scarf!!!
I always drink a half gallon of orange juice as soon as I feel the 'ol scratch in the back of the throat. A bit overboard, maybe, it it seems to fend it off...Curious about acupuncture, though.
Those shoes are D-lish!
Great idea with the scarf and belt. i'm going to have to try this combo!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the scarf and belt combo, I had it on my to do list and now you've confirmed it's a must! I discovered your blog last week and now I am determined to look through all of your old posts. I'm anal in that way, it helps me decide if you're a 'friend in my head." BTW you are, lol. You had me at the story about the lying ex-friend and the poop. Hope you feel better soon and thanks for the outfit posts I need real world inspiration!
Love the way you have belted your scarf - hope you feel better soon, soup always helps (also, lots of biscuits!)

Your big pot of soup sounds just like what I need to! Those shoes are simply amazing! What a fantastic pair!
Every time you post pictures from that bridge it looks so magical! Wish I had a bridge like that by my house!
Love the outfit- I think you've convinced me to try the belt over scarf trend!

uh, the hues go so well together in this outfit!
You do look great! I think DVF might have a point with that quote, that really rings true to me. I like the little braid in your hair and your belted scarf as a shirt (you do love to turn scarves into shirts).
Off to check out your shop!
xoxo, Ashley
the scarf is truly lovely and that bridge! What a great spot for photos. I think this is the first time I've seen the entire bridge...
Lovely pictures! Feel better- show that virus who's boss!

I was just looking through your recent photos and I realized you have the most amazing collection when it comes to coats and honestly speaking combining your outfits must be a real artistic process one that I would definitely like to see in video someday...:)
