These are my two Turkish friends. These sisters, Ceylan and Ceren, were accompanied by Marek, the short haired girl's boyfriend, at Burning Man last week, and were welcomed to my house afterward to decompress before heading back to LA and Turkey. We lounged most of the days, with a little thrift shopping thrown in for good measure, then about 10 minutes before sunset this evening, my husband suggested we do a quick photo shoot. Knowing we had mere minutes till sundown, we girls ran upstairs and in a frenzy, threw these dresses, shoes and accessories on (luckily they both wear the same size shoe as me and asked no questions as I insisted, "Here! Just put these on!") and hustled out to the sunset spot. These were my favorites from the bunch but honestly the two of them are so photogenic that all of them feel like magic! AHHH! It is so fun to style these girls! Both were saying, "What about my hair!" Perplexed I was just like, are you kidding me! Its perfect! So effortless. So chic. I wish they could stay and just be my dress up dolls forever.

this is very odd because last night (or this morning really) i had a dream i visited you at your house and you made me wear those very two pairs of shoes (and a few others from your collection). so strange! something is going on with my head :s

Ok first of all, your last post, I was reading it right after I was wearing loose trousers tucked into my black rubber riding boots. I've always liked that look. My sister said I looked like I was going fishing and my mother told me I looked like I should be in Scotland or Ireland. I like both those scenarios.
