I finally played around with my new lens for my camera! My husband got it for me for mother's day and I was a little intimidated by it for a while I guess, then yesterday I just decided to suck it up and see how it worked.  Its a Canon EF 75-30mm zoom lens (whatever that means) and basically means that I have to set up my camera almost out of remote control range to snap full length photos of myself, BUT I think the crispness is pretty amazing! I took several that didn't wok out, like accidental close ups of my buttons and one of my goose bumps (oh I should just include them so you can see what I am talking about)
I mean if there was like a cool accessory in there I would be stoked, but alas, goosebumps. Because it got Chilly! And my scarf was not enough there at the end while I was wrestling with the darn lens to just give me a few usable shots! I am going to play with it more now and get it all sorted out.  I am pretty excited though!!

OH!!! And its Mel's Birthday I think so maybe pop over and wish her a nice one!!

Scarf: AA
Vest: H&M
Pants: thrifted

ohhhhhhhhhhh the pictures are so pretty!!!
I bought a 50mm lens(as opposed to teh 18-55 that came with the camera)about a month ago and I have to back up soooooo much. Good thing you are outdoors and have an endless amount of space ;)
I am completely in love with shallow depth of field so these look great. And your hair is looking awesome. Today I really miss my long hair. I'm so torn, I want my safety blanket back but I donno. stupid hair!

it's goosebumps season, just a denim vest and a scarf aint gonna cut it no more, regardless of how cute they look.

I always take a second look at your accessories.

Could you pretty please do a feature on them one day? You are always amazing at accessorizing and doing things unexpected to make them look polished...

Cheers, hope you are enjoying some tea!

Beautiful photos! I REALLY like that last one. You look so charming. And this outfit is just the ultimate in fall casual cool. Adore the vest with the top and the bit of bare back peaking out, well, in the back! Lovely.

We're getting a DSLR for Christmas, from SANTA (ie. US!). We keep saying that NO ONE else is getting presents because of this...but we may relent. As it is: I can't wait!

AH! Goosebumps!

And heyguesswhat? Your vest looks a hell of a lot like your new Anthropologie belt! Interesting, interesting.

And I really like your hair, by the way. True, it was a little longer than I had expected, but freaking out is totally justified no matter how much length you've lost.

And I may have to kill you for these trou, ma'am.
